The Elder Jade

A thousand years ago, the Yinshan Patriarch created the Yingyuan Grand Formation in an attempt to drain all spiritual energy from the Great Wilderness. When the formation collapsed, it sealed the Xuan Dynasty's imperial palace—and countless demonic creatures—within another realm.
Now the lost palace has returned, laying waste to the Liyun Sect in an instant. Malignant curses infest its halls, and savage beasts roam the ruins. Almost no one who enters returns. Only fragments of a mysterious jade disc, scattered throughout the ruins, can ward off the dark energy that eats away at the soul.
Eight cultivators, each bound to a different fate, enter the ruins with jade fragments in hand. Finding the formation's focal points and destroying the demonic lairs may be the only way to end a calamity a thousand years in the making.

Choose from eight cultivators, each with a distinct background and fighting style. Pluck the strings of a guqin to command the battlefield through music. Direct flying swords into formations that pierce enemy ranks. Wield the Sun and Moon Wheels to shift between attack and defense. Raise the Myriad Souls Banner to send spirits into battle, or unleash the cold light of the moon through the Wangshu Mirror.
Each character has more than twenty passive skills to build around. Even the same cultivator can follow a radically different path from one run to the next.

Discover over a hundred magical artifacts, each with its own attack pattern and spirit seal attributes. Over the course of a run, assemble a loadout of up to fifteen guardian artifacts, bringing flying swords, enchanted mirrors, golden wheels, and other mystical treasures into battle alongside you.
Combine artifacts according to their spirit seals to activate bonuses that support different builds. Focus on a single source of power and aim to destroy your enemies in one strike, or bring together a diverse arsenal of artifacts that work in concert. The choice is yours.

More than forty types of elixirs and talismans bring new possibilities to every run. Consume elixirs to stack buffs as the battle wears on. Unleash talismans to control the battlefield, cut down enemies, or turn a desperate situation around.
Build a lasting advantage with elixirs, use talismans to cover weaknesses in your build, or combine them with artifacts and spirit seals to explore more daring strategies.
BIND THEIR SOULS. CLAIM THEIR POWERS.
Seal the souls of defeated enemies into soul pacts to gain their unique skills. Each pact also rolls random modifiers: some increase its power, while others change how the skill works.
With different modifiers and builds, the same enemy skill can become an entirely different answer to the dangers ahead.
CHARACTER PROFILES
GU QINGWEI
The youngest disciple of the Liyun Sect, Qingwei is gentle by nature and still early in her cultivation. To find her fellow disciples and avenge her sect, she gathers the courage to enter the deadly ruins.
