You are a lord chosen by a remnant of divine power. A crystal called the Heart of Lord, forged from a fallen god of ages past, grants you dominion over your followers — and burdens you with one ultimate purpose: ascend to godhood.
This world-bubble is but one among countless stars. The ancient pantheon once sheltered all realms with their divine kingdoms — until the Abyss came. An entity beyond killing, beyond destruction, a cosmic devourer sealed only by sacrifice. The gods gave their lives to forge that seal. Their kingdoms shattered. Their names were erased from existence. Now the seal weakens. The Abyss stirs once more. And you are the only variable this era has to offer.
Not Another Colony Sim
In HonorOfLord, every follower is a fully realized RPG character — with their own racial talents, unique growth paths, and ultimate potential. Humans walk the twin paths of martial aura and arcane magic. Orcs sharpen their instincts through bloodshed. The Machinekin upgrade their very bodies through technology. No two followers grow the same way.
The Lord is the mightiest hero of all — you command your territory from a god's-eye RTS view, then seamlessly drop into third-person to fight, build, and explore yourself. Strategic oversight and personal experience, woven into one.
From Wilderness to Kingdom
You begin in a forest, starting from nothing — build a town hall, a tavern, homes. Clear farmland. Open mines. Raise structures from hand-placed log walls, sloped shingle roofs, and circular stained-glass windows. The current version offers a preset building system; full free-form construction will arrive in a later update.
Beyond your walls lies a vast hex-grid overworld — roughly 20,000 tiles, 30% land, with 20 to 60 settlements. Expedition. Trade. Conquest. A world awaits.
Godhood Is the Only Path
There are no factions to join, no other roads to take. Ascension is the sole trajectory. Claim a vacant throne left by a fallen deity, or gather faith, forge your legend, and carve an entirely new divine seat into the cosmos.
The ending is not a save file. It is the beginning of the next cycle. The blessings you leave behind will echo into new worlds, new followers, and new stories.
