You are a payphone. Old, rusty, forgotten. You’ve been standing in the parking lot for decades, and during that time you’ve heard thousands of voices: lovers, betrayers, the desperate, the drunk, and those who had nowhere else to call. You’ve always listened. You’ve always been silent. Your job is to connect people and be a conduit for someone else’s pain. But today is your last night.
“Don't Hang Up” is a short, atmospheric visual novel about an old street phone that, on its last night before being disconnected, listens to other people’s conversations, argues, and remembers what it means to be alive.
