Top Down Exploration, Turn-Based Combat: seamless blend of two distinct gameplay perspectives into a cohesive, single-player experience.

Unique skill-trees: each character has a different set of skills, traits and talents. Cast spells, crush skulls with a hammer or practice necromancy to control death. Learn new talents to strike critical hits, modify existing abilities or increase the amount of arrows fired, turning a bow into a machine-gun.

Status-based combat: bleed enemies, poison them and set them on fire. Stack status effects of different abilities to create deadly, unexpected combinations.

Equipment doesn't just dictate how strong you are, but it can also provide you with extra abilities that you wouldn't have learned otherwise, opening the room for unconventional builds.
A backstabbing bard? Or maybe a suicidal goblin that blows himself up to tear enemies apart?
