But beneath the hat there is a detective shaped by a past he keeps close, one that makes him impossible to ignore when a mystery begins to ripple. 
When legends begin to vanish without a trace, the city’s balance starts to collapse. The nights grow longer and whispers move through the city like something ancient is waking beneath the surface. What begins as a missing persons case soon reveals a deeper conspiracy.
