Wasteland Home is a single-player open-world survival game that begins before the apocalypse. The city is still open for business, and you have time to prepare. When shops close and the water stops running, carry on with the supplies you gathered, the home you built and the people you came to know.Make your preparations while there is time
Choose a profession, create your character and set out from your own starting point. Buy food and equipment while shops are open, fill your water bottles, learn the roads and meet the residents. Preparation time is limited. Decide whether to stock up first, find a place to settle or get to know someone who might join you.Go out with a purpose. Bring something home.
Explore the city, wasteland and settlements for your next meal, building materials and useful equipment. Local stock, carrying weight, thirst and stamina shape each trip. Choose what to take, what to leave and when to turn back. Drive a vehicle to travel farther and use its cargo space to bring more supplies home.Build a place to live
Use the materials you collect to build shelter, arrange storage and set aside supplies for your next outing. Grow crops and care for animals at the farm, then cook and process what you produce. Find your own balance between searching for supplies and tending the place you call home.Get to know the people around you
Talk to residents and survivors, build trust by helping with supplies and invite some of them to join you. Ask companions to follow, wait where they are or return to their own routines. Choose whom to help and whom to bring along.Keep living in a world you have changed
The disaster does not reset the supplies you gathered or the structures you built. Your preparations carry into the life that follows. If your character dies, you can create a new survivor and continue in the same world. Buildings, vehicles and depleted supplies remain, while the new survivor starts their own progression and relationships.Current language support
The current development build supports English. Simplified Chinese translation is incomplete; some in-game interfaces and dialogue remain in English.
