Day by Day: Tokyo Student Diary is a pixel-art survival life simulation game about the everyday life of an international student in Japan.
After arriving in Tokyo, you'll start from scratch and face the realities of studying abroad. Find a place to live, keep yourself fed, learn Japanese, earn money through part-time jobs, manage your time, and take care of both your physical and mental well-being as you work toward your goals.
Every day offers only a limited amount of time. Will you spend it studying in the library to prepare for exams, or work at a convenience store, café, or Chinese restaurant to pay your bills? You can also cook, work out, visit hot springs, meet new people, and create your own story in the streets of Tokyo.
The game combines time management with survival mechanics. Hunger, sleep, mood, study progress, hygiene, and money all interact with one another, meaning every decision has lasting consequences. Studying hard may unlock better job opportunities, while staying up too late, living under constant stress, or running out of money can make life increasingly difficult.
As you progress, you'll unlock new locations, jobs, events, and relationships. Random events, unique character traits, and meaningful choices ensure that every playthrough offers a different journey and multiple possible endings.
