The Machine God is a hyper-aggressive roguelike about the dance between blade and bullet. Slash and dash through a city consumed by a fanatical hivemind, and master the art of Gun Fu.
GUN FU
Every magazine runs dry eventually. The only way to reload in The Machine God is to land a melee strike. Weave between shooting and slashing to keep your weapons singing without breaking the rhythm.
THE CITY’S TREASURES
Speaking of breaking the rhythm, the city is filled with loot that can rewrite your play-style each run. Delete an enemy with a single click, become a walking fortress, create an army of turrets. Perks stack, combine, and multiply into a variety of builds.
GUNS AND STANCES
Permanent meta-progression comes in the form of guns and blade stances, giving you a way to grow stronger between runs and to experiment. Pick perks around your gun, or pick your gun around the perks - the run is yours to plan.
The Machine God is built to turn you fast and brutal, and most importantly, to teach you to make decisions without hesitation.
