Horizon Ring

How will you survive?
Horizon Ring is an incremental tower-defense game where your limited-capacity loadout determines how each run plays. Build around active clicking, passive income, specialized towers, layered fortifications, risky expansion, or a hybrid defense. Then test your strategy against airborne, explosive, swarming, and heavily armored threats on maps that reshape routes and opportunities to expand.

Build around your playstyle.
Every run begins with a limited-capacity loadout of Protocols: permanent upgrades you unlock, improve, and equip before deployment. Build around active clicking, passive generator income, a favorite tower type, layered fortifications, risky expansion, or a hybrid strategy. You cannot equip everything, so changing your loadout changes which decisions, synergies, and tradeoffs define the run.

Choose how your economy grows.
Click the HQ for immediate income, invest in generators for passive growth, or combine both. Some loadouts reward staying active throughout the run, while others grow into increasingly self-sufficient economies, letting you choose how involved you want to be as the defense expands.

Engineer the battlefield.
Machine guns and cannons form the first line. Unlock lasers, tesla coils, missiles, gunships, specialized modifications, and several kinds of fortifications. Use terrain, tower coverage, target priorities, mobile support, and several kinds of fortification to create kill zones without leaving the dome exposed. Build durable walls to hold a route, mount Cannons on Bastions, or place Blast Walls that detonate when enemies destroy them.

Turn progression into new possibilities.
Earn permanent unlocks through wave milestones, achievements, and Challenges. New structures and loadout options expand the strategies available for future runs, while run upgrades and mid-run choice popups continue shaping each defense after deployment.
Capacity limits prevent one solved loadout from dominating every run. Different maps, difficulties, and challenge rules reward different combinations, encouraging you to experiment, pursue specialized goals, and refine the strategies that carry you farther into endless waves.
