Steam Colony combines voxel building, industrial automation and nighttime defense. At the center of everything is your Steam Core: the heart of a colony that needs resources, working machines and a plan for whatever arrives after sunset. Explore a procedurally generated voxel world, find deposits and choose where your colony will take shape. Mine materials, raise structures and arrange workshops, storage and defenses around the Steam Core. Plan your layout to connect production, make room for robot routes and protect your base.

Put your robots to work
Give specialized robots jobs in mining, wood gathering, transport and defense. Mark work areas and create logistics routes to move resources where they are needed. Watch your robots at work in the world and adjust their routes as the colony grows.

Bring your machines to life with steam
Connect pumps, boilers, pipes and machines into an industrial network. Begin with water, heat and steam, then research technologies that bring high pressure, mechanical power, electricity and Ether into your colony. Expand production, unlock equipment and decide which improvements deserve your resources before the next night arrives.

Prepare by day. Defend by night.
Use daylight to gather supplies, strengthen your walls and position your defenders. At night, invading creatures threaten your infrastructure and the Steam Core itself. Keep your robots supplied, protect the network behind your defenses and join the fight when the colony needs you.

Play solo or divide the work with friends: while one player expands production, another can handle logistics or prepare the defenses. Every dawn is another chance to improve what you have built.Find your perspective
