After an accident that left her using a wheelchair, detective Laura Le Fanu relocates to her uncle’s castle-like estate in rural Rhode Island. There she meets his maids and the mysterious butler Eli, who quickly forms a bond with her. When a maid is found dead and a storm traps them inside, Laura must unravel the truth—unaware that a vampire walks among them.
