Recruit workers, master powerful spells, customize towers with gems, and unlock permanent upgrades.

Defend:
Push back the assault with grid based tower placement and build your defences around each map’s unique layout. Every tower can be developed through its own upgrade skill tree, with two distinct paths allowing you to shape its role.

Adapt your strategy as waves of varied monsters break through your defences, each bringing different strengths, weaknesses and threats.

Build and expand:

Construct unique buildings that expand your settlement and provide resources and buffs. Recruit workers from the tavern and assign them to different buildings, deciding where your growing population can have the greatest impact.

Upgrade buildings to increase your population and strengthen their benefits. How you develop your town and allocate its workforce will directly influence your towers and economy.

Loot and Craft:

Collect gems dropped by monsters during battle. Combine three gems of the same type and tier to forge a higher tier gem, providing a reliable way to work towards the effects you want.

Make your own synergies:

Socket gems into your towers to dramatically change how they shoot. Turn standard attacks into piercing shots, chain projectiles between enemies, Cast Explosions on critical strikes and discover creative combinations that can completely reshape a tower’s role.

Interact with the environment:

The battlefield is more than just a place to build your defences. Interact with the environment and use what you find to help turn the tide against approaching foes.
Each map can offer different opportunities to exploit, from activating deadly traps and gaining powerful buffs to uncovering extra mana when you need it most. Keep an eye on your surroundings.
