INKTRICK is a cozy roguelite card game about cards, ink, and magical stamps. Grab the ink pad and get comfortable: Your best friend Fibus has already dealt the cards. In the cardboard theater of your childhood bedroom, tricky card games, powerful special editions, and the search for your very own "key to happiness" await.

Your best friend. Your cheekiest opponent.

Fibus is the cheeky hand at the other end of the table. He deals the cards, he shows you everything, he cheers you on... and then snatches the last trick right from under your nose. The rules are quick to learn: play a card, win a trick, collect ink. But the cards are only the beginning. With magical stamps, you strengthen your own hand and weaken your opponent's. One stamp is all it takes, and the weakest card on the table beats the strongest.

You can see his cards. You know his stamps. Now it's up to you to think two moves ahead. Every game is a little puzzle, and the best moment is when your plan works out. In every run, you face new opponents whose traits are randomized anew. Behind every role is Fibus, your best friend and playmate. A total of 16 bosses await you, each with their own strengths. Every one of them gets their own big entrance: a little theater performance before the first cards are played.

In INKTRICK, you return to the time when you were a small child. In your room stands a wondrous cardboard theater. Fibus slips into his next role, the curtain rises, and your story comes to life. It's about the small and big problems of a child. About wishes that keep getting bigger. About feelings you sometimes don't have the words for yet. And about the question of how to become happy.

Together with Fibus, you set out in search of your "key to happiness." Every boss lets you discover another piece of your story. Trick by trick, you get to know the characters on the stage, and along the way, yourself as well. All of it takes place in a world of paper, ink, and childlike imagination, with characters that could have sprung from a small child's crayons. Get comfortable. Fibus is already waiting for the next round.

Your 8 doesn't look like much. Fibus has an Ace. Time for a stamp! Twelve different magical stamps are waiting to be unlocked. Each one changes something different: strengthen your cards, disenchant your opponent's hand, and find the trick that lets you snatch the deciding trick away from him.

Spend the little gold coins from your runs in the shop on better stamps and new card packs. Upgrade a familiar stamp or tear open a pack? Maybe it contains exactly the special edition you need to put your next plan together. With every run, your collection grows. And with it, the ways you can surprise Fibus.

You start with a classic deck ranging from 7 to Ace. With magical stamps, you upgrade your cards; with special editions, you build your own personal deck. There are 256 special editions to earn: from common to uncommon, rare, epic, and legendary. The rarer the card, the more powerful its abilities.
