A gap too wide to jump and a boulder full of ore share the exact same answer - you just ask the question differently. But the solution is always your ‘Tool’.
SOMEBODY LEFT THE LIGHTS ON
Then, across an impossible gap, you see a warm glow in the distance.
It’s a diner perched on a drifting rock. It is the first warm, lit, populated thing in the dark, and it will become your anchor. Inside is Carl. He runs the counter alone, keeping the lights on after his partner left. It was her, Merry, who ventured out to gather the exotic ingredients that made his menu special. But no world ever felt like home to her, and he let her go - out of love - to search the dimensions for peace.
But this diner isn't just a building. It's an interdimensional vehicle, and it has run completely dry. Its portal sits open and starved, waiting for the fuel to make the next jump.

The answer to being lost isn’t finding a place to call home - it’s building one. By charting the seam, gathering exotic ingredients, and recovering the scattered Synthwave tapes of a wandering musician named MonoWolf, you will bring life back to Carl's counter.

Cross the quiet void by pulling solid platforms out of thin air to bridge impossible gaps. When a wall blocks your way, you don't hunt for a switch - you slice straight through the shimmering rock to forge your own tunnel. There are no screen-cluttering waypoints telling you where to go. Instead, you will naturally learn to read the space around you, letting distinct landmarks, shifting lighting, and the gleam of rare resources draw you deeper into the seam.

Every strike of your laser is permanent progress. Ore or ‘The Juice’ you haul back funds lasting upgrades, granting you longer reach, faster cuts, and the fuel Carl needs for the diner's drive. While the main path keeps you moving forward, the promise of hidden exotic ingredients and MonoWolf's scattered Synthwave tapes will constantly tempt you to step off the beaten track and into the unknown. Everything you bring back draws displaced wanderers out of the dark to fill the diner's empty seats, bringing rumors and coordinates to new worlds along with them.
