About This Game
World of Kadal: Protector of Hammerdale is a single-player deckbuilding RPG about preparing for a battle you know is coming.
The Protector has fallen, and Hammerdale is under threat. You have 4 weeks to prepare. On Week 5, Hammerdale will be attacked. Liberate Hammerdale, rebuild the town, explore the surrounding lands, and grow powerful enough to defend it.
Build your character around cards and Actions, then enhance your build with equipment and talents. Cards are drawn from your deck, while Actions are powerful abilities with their own cooldowns that can be used during combat.
The strongest card isn't always the best choice. Powerful builds come from creating synergies between your cards, Actions, equipment, and talents.

4 WEEKS TO PREPARE
Time is limited. During the 4 weeks before the attack, decide how to spend your time and resources.
Go on expeditions to fight enemies and find new cards and equipment. Return to Hammerdale to improve your character and develop the town.
Invest in your buildings to unlock better options, or focus on your economy and trade with neighboring settlements to get what you need.
How you spend those 4 weeks determines how prepared you are when the attack begins.
CONSTRUCT AN ENGINE
Building a powerful deck is only one part of becoming a strong Protector.
Combine your deck, Actions, equipment, and Talent Tree to create powerful synergies. An ordinary card can become a key part of a much stronger build when combined with the right equipment, talents, and Actions.
Experiment with different combinations and build a character where all of your abilities work together.

TURN-BASED BATTLES
Every battle is about making the most of your turn.
Draw cards from your deck and use your Actions to deal damage, gain Defence, and prepare for the enemy's next move.
Manage your available Action Points, keep track of your Actions' cooldowns, and decide when to attack, defend, or set up your next combination.
Enemies have their own cards, Actions, and cooldowns. You can see what they have available, allowing you to anticipate their moves and adapt your strategy.
REBUILD HAMMERDALE
Liberating Hammerdale is only the beginning.
Construct and upgrade buildings to unlock access to more powerful cards and equipment. Your buildings can also generate Coins, Stone, and Wood, giving you the resources needed to develop both your character and the town.
Use Coins to buy cards and equipment and to level up your character. Use Stone and Wood to construct and upgrade buildings.
Most buildings also require Coins, so managing your economy is an important part of preparing for the attack.
Sell trade goods and visit neighboring settlements to find the cards and equipment you need.

EXPLORE THE WORLD OF KADAL
Leave Hammerdale and venture into the surrounding lands on expeditions.
Fight enemies, discover new cards and equipment, and learn more about the world of Kadal as you grow stronger.
Each expedition gives you another opportunity to improve your character before the attack on Hammerdale.
