CyberCon: Cybersecurity Tycoon is a deep business simulation where you found and run a cybersecurity company. Hire specialists and grow them into a dedicated team, design your office, bid on government tenders, deliver high-quality work on time, and develop security products of your own. Starting in January 1990, you will guide your company through five distinct technological eras up to 2039.
Build Your Company
Start at a single desk with a few skills and a little savings. Hire the right people, form specialist teams, and land your first clients.

Run a Consultancy
Bid on contracts. Staff each job with the right specialists and build a reputation to unlock massive government tenders.
Manage Your Team
Every specialist has one real domain — there is no miracle hire. Train your people, earn them certifications, and deepen their expertise with badges. Keep them happy and rested, because a burned-out expert makes a mistake at the most critical moment.

The industry doesn't stand still, and neither can you
In 1990 there are no "pentesters" yet; banks and telecoms hire you for security drills and virus response. By the 2000s the web arrives, worms spread, and your antivirus that sold on floppy disks now needs a CD, a web presence and a version 3. By the 2010s it's APTs and cloud; by the 2020s zero trust, IoT and AI; by the 2030s AI-vs-AI warfare and quantum. Every era changes what clients ask for, what skills your staff need, what your office looks like and whether your products are still relevant.

Develop across 8 product lines with ~100 modules. Sell boxed copies to home users or enterprise licenses to corporations.

Deep Market Mechanics
Set pricing bands, run marketing campaigns, compare your modules against rival firms on the live industry rankings, and license technology to or from competitors.

Choose Your Path
Become the state’s most trusted contractor, or dive into the gray market—cracking copy protection in 1990, phreaking, or selling zero-days. Scandals and bribes scale with the era.

Take loans with era-accurate interest rates, manage fixed inflation, run a 1990-scale payroll, pay taxes, and analyze quarterly financial reports inside a fictional retro desktop OS.
