Letter Engineer

Create crosswords. Letter Engineer is a game where the words you write become machines. In each level, your goal is to get the ball to the flag by writing words. The words you write will become physical objects in-game, and you can use them to build bridges, hammers, cars, or even rocket ships to get your ball where it needs to go.

Connect. Completing levels earns you letters in the overworld, which you can use to connect planets. Fill in the blanks to build bridges that take you to new places.

Every kind of letter. Once you've mastered the standard letter tile, you gain access to new types of letter. Hinged tiles let you build rotating structures, engine tiles let you blast a structure into space, and brittle tiles let you turn a single structure into two. Combining these simple mechanics lets you make complex and powerful machines.

Optimize. There are almost unlimited solutions to every level. Each level has additional challenges to complete that restrict what words you can use. Work to make the cheapest solution, the fastest solution, a solution without the letter E, or simply a solution with all your favorite words. Any level can be played as many ways as you want, and you can always replay or edit anything you've made. You never have to optimize. You only have to play.
