Yushou Xianmen: Mortal Realm

Yushou Xianmen: Mortal Realm is a tower defense and base-building game inspired by Eastern cultivation fantasy. In each stage, you gather resources, draw character cards, build defensive units, and combine faction synergies to withstand waves of incoming monsters.
## Core Gameplay
- Draw character cards and build them as defensive units.
- Gather resources, construct buildings, and defend the immortal gate.
- Combine different faction synergies, including Mechanical Arts, Demonic Path, and Cultivation.
- Adjust your defenses, upgrade characters, and strengthen your lineup against increasingly dangerous enemy waves.
- Protect the core building and defeat all enemy waves to clear the stage.
## Current Early Access Content
The current version includes the core single-player offline gameplay loop, including the main menu, new game, continue game, building, defense, card drawing, resource gathering, enemy waves, base defense, victory and defeat conditions, as well as some faction, equipment, crafting, and management systems.
The game is still in Early Access. Content volume, balance, stage pacing, UI presentation, and combat feedback will continue to be improved. The current version may contain bugs, incomplete features, rough presentation, limited content, or balance issues. Please decide whether to purchase based on the single-player offline content currently available.
## Future Development Direction
Future updates are planned to focus on more stages, enemy variety, faction mechanics, synergy improvements, save and stage systems, UI polish, visual presentation, audio, and combat feedback.
Online multiplayer or co-op gameplay is one direction I would like to explore in the future, but this feature is not included in the current version. Its final form and release timing have not been determined.

## A Note from the Developer
Yushou Xianmen: Mortal Realm is currently being developed by a solo developer. My professional background is mainly in 2D art, so the current version still has many rough areas, including programming stability, stage content, model quality, UI details, balance, and overall polish.
I chose to release the game in Early Access to let players try the core gameplay earlier and to gather real feedback for future improvements. The current version already contains a playable single-player tower defense loop, but it may still include bugs, rough visuals, limited content, and balance issues.
If the game receives enough support, I will continue improving the stage system, faction gameplay, combat presentation, models, UI art, and overall stability. Feedback and bug reports from the Steam Community will help guide the development priorities.
