Gravebound Rising is a dark fantasy necromancer action game set in a seamless open world where every battle can grow your army.
You are a fragile necromancer venturing into a world consumed by death, corruption, and things that refuse to stay buried. Fight through hostile regions, harvest the souls of your enemies, collect their corpses, and raise the fallen to fight at your side.
But not all undead are created equal.
Enemies leave behind different corpses based on what they were in life. Slain warriors can become Skeleton Warriors or Zombie Infantry. Archers can return as Skeleton Archers. Assassins can become Wraiths or Ghoul Stalkers. Beasts, casters, elites, and even massive enemies can provide entirely different additions to your undead forces.
Who you kill changes the army you can raise.
Alongside these disposable Raised Dead is your Soulbound Legion—a permanent force that grows with you throughout your journey. Soulbound units gain experience, level up, develop traits, evolve, retain their classes and skills, and can eventually return even after being destroyed.
Explore the Forsaken Village, Rotwood Cemetery, Ashen Battlefield, Plague Marsh, Cathedral of Silence, Bone Desert, Blackspire Wastes, and the depths of the Abyss Crypts, with each region introducing new enemy families, elites, events, loot, rituals, hidden encounters, and increasingly dangerous bosses.
Your power doesn't come from being the strongest fighter on the battlefield.
It comes from controlling it.
Dodge attacks, command your summons, exploit corpses, harvest souls, collect powerful loot, unlock new talents, perform rituals, strengthen your Soulbound Legion, and decide when to sacrifice temporary undead to keep yourself alive.
