You will find no intrusive mini-maps, arcade notifications, or floating health bars. From spreading infections and fractures to body temperature, dehydration, and creeping madness, information is conveyed through a tactile handwritten journal and your own physical observations. To stay alive, you must read the subtle changes in your character’s condition, manage supplies realistically, and face the harsh reality of living off what remains of the world.

Your Shelter, Your Fortress
Your home is a weathered two-level wooden outpost overlooking desolate forests and forgotten ruins. Surviving means transforming this drafty cabin into an impregnable refuge:
The Workbench & Barricades: Board up broken windows, patch wall breaches with gathered timber, and bolt the heavy reinforced door shut before night predators arrive at your doorstep.

The Wood Stove: Assemble and stoke a wood-burning stove. It clears the dampness, cooks raw meat rations, boils soothing herbal tea, and keeps you from freezing during bitter sub-zero nights.
