Starhold: Last Light

The Last Starhold is a space tower defense × roguelike deck-building game.

▎ ▎ Cards come from the run, not a preset deck. There is no fixed deck. After every cleared wave, pick one of three random blueprints to unlock a new tower. Shops, gambling dens and events hand out more tower and planet cards. Your choices set your direction.

▎ ▎ Random routes, with good events and bad ones. The star map is regenerated every run, and you choose which nodes to visit. Along the way you'll meet merchants, altars, research stations and gambling dens, but also rebels, ambushes and black holes. Some events give you planets and tech artifacts; others cost you towers, funds or entire planets.

▎ ▎ Expand your territory by placing planets. Earth sits at the bottom of the star field with nothing around it. Place the planets you acquire around Earth, build your formation layer by layer, and push ever deeper into space. Where you put each planet decides the shape of your defense.

▎ ▎ No fixed strategy. Over 200 defensive structures, more than 30 kinds of planets, plus tech artifacts and event rewards: every run produces a different combination. Same stage, different experience.

▎ ▎ Every decision counts. Which card you take, where you place a planet, which side of it you build on, which option you pick in an event: it all carries forward into later battles and decides whether Earth holds.
