An envelope, a set of keys, and the deed to a railway station no one in your family ever spoke of. You go to see what you have been left — and find that its platforms do not lead where platforms lead.Four cities, a century apart
Each platform opens onto a real place at a real time: Berlin, Paris, New York, Hong Kong, decades apart. You are not shown a museum of them. You walk their streets, read their signs, speak to the people standing on their corners, and pick up what they left lying around.A clue in one era changes another
This is the whole game. Something you read in one city means nothing until a thing you find in another tells you what it was. The notebook you carry between them is the only place those two halves ever meet — and the story is what you assemble in it, not what you are told.Quiet, first-person, unhurried
