Your trusty van dies on a country road with nothing in your pockets but a sketchbook. The town down the way doesn't run you off; they give you the chance to earn the repairs yourself.
So you get to work the only way you know how.

Everything in this world is something you drew. Sketch a hoe and till the soil with it. Sketch an axe, a watering can, a fishing rod... and they become real, working tools with real stats. You can draw literally anything you want.
Draw a lantern, a rocking chair, a wind chime, a crooked little scarecrow, and decorate your farm with furniture that exists nowhere else because nobody else drew it. Draw the thing you're missing and go use it. There is no recipe list to unlock and no tech tree to climb. There's just you in a field and whatever you can picture.
Grow your palette. Marigold, woad, madder, and 8 more crops -- plant them, harvest them, grind them into pigment and mix them at the dye bench into any other colors you need. Your fields feed your art, and your art builds your farm.
Get known for it. Word travels. A blacksmith asks you to draw him a proper axe. A neighbor wants something for her window. Sketch what they're after and they'll pay you in coin, in kindness, and in things you couldn't have made alone. The town has its share of people struggling with more than they let on, and your sketchbook turns out to be a strange kind of key into their hearts and their stories.

No money.
