Hallucinophobia

Hallucinophobia is an atmospheric psychological horror game where you make your way through a procedurally generated forest trail while finding ways to deal with the creatures that hunt you down. 

Gameplay
You are retrieving some things left behind in an old cabin in the middle of the woods. The only path? An old forest trail. Travel through the forest while using your given tools to avoid the creatures of the forest and make it safely back.

The Creatures - Hallucinations or Real Threats?
While traversing the forest, things are not as they seem. Creatures seem to appear and vanish as if they were never there, and it's your job to figure out if they are real threats or simply a trick of the mind.

Tools - Useful items, but at a cost
The forest is a dangerous place, luckily you have a few tools at your disposal to help out when things get rough.

The Flashlight
Your flashlight lets you see through the thick darkness of the forest without enraging its inhabitants. It can even be used to deter some creatures from attacking! Be careful though, as using it on fake creatures may alert the real thing.

The Camera
The camera is your surefire way to tell if a creature is real or not. Creatures that do not show up on the photo are hallucinations. The ones that do show up though are real threats. Be careful though, as using it too much may bring more attention to yourself.

The Shotgun
Your handy shotgun can deter most creatures from attacking. One shot and they temporarily flee. Be weary of use though, as it may make them more aggressive later one...
