FIDES DUALIS
Fides Dualis is a fast-paced 2D isometric action roguelite where faith shapes your combat abilities, progression, and story.
Fight through dangerous rooms filled with varied enemies, optional objectives, elites, and powerful bosses. Combine melee attacks, charged magic projectiles, dodges, ultimate abilities, and collectible runes to create powerful builds.
During each run, choose prayers that grant new bonuses while increasing your alignment toward one of two opposing faiths: Holy or Fanatic. Embrace one faith completely or combine both to create hybrid builds and unique synergies.
After each run, return to the central sanctuary to equip and forge runes, unlock permanent skills, collect rewards, and prepare for increasingly difficult encounters. Raise the Judgement level to face stronger enemies in exchange for greater rewards.
Your journey also unfolds through the Council of Fides Dualis. Complete quests for its members, earn their trust, and uncover fragments of the prophecy surrounding the Chosen One.
At the heart of the sanctuary stands a sealed door. To open it, you must recover 10 sacred keys, each connected to a Council member and their personal questline.
