A case neither of you can solve alone

Whispers From Below is a first-person cooperative puzzle adventure for two players, set in a world inspired by cosmic horror.
After their mentor's disappearance, two detective apprentices follow the trail of his investigations to an old, isolated mansion. There they'll discover that the case is tied to a ritual, a secret organization, and forces whose nature escapes all rational explanation.
To find answers and make it out alive, both of them will have to explore the mansion, interpret its secrets, and place their full trust in each other.

The same mansion, two perceptions

Each player perceives the environment differently.
An inscription visible to one may remain hidden from the other. A seemingly insignificant object can reveal different information depending on who examines it. Neither of you holds, on your own, all the pieces needed to understand what's happening.
Describe what you see, compare your findings, and piece together what the mansion is trying to keep hidden.

The shell keeps you connected

A strange shell will be the investigators' main tool.
Through it they can communicate when the mansion separates them, light up dark areas, and reveal traces that stay hidden to the naked eye.
Every new discovery, however, brings them closer to whatever lies behind the reality they know.

Every clue is incomplete

The puzzles in Whispers From Below are built around cooperation and communication.
Over the course of the investigation you'll have to interpret patterns, operate mechanisms from separate rooms, relay instructions, and connect clues scattered across both perspectives.
The solution never depends solely on what one of you can do, but on what the two of you manage to understand together.

On your mentor's trail

Explore abandoned halls, sealed libraries, moonlit courtyards, and ritual chambers hidden deep beneath the mansion.
Find documents, reconstruct your mentor's final movements, and uncover what drove him to defy his own convictions.
Your investigation began as the search for a missing man.
Soon it will become something far greater.
