Hontian Beyond is a single-player AI interactive narrative game built around meaningful choices, branching storylines, investigation, and multiple endings.
You experience the story from the protagonist's perspective as you enter a mysterious world filled with unexplained events and hidden truths. During cinematic story sequences, you will observe scenes, gather information, collect clues, interact with AI characters, and make decisions at critical moments.
There is no single fixed path through the story.
Who you trust, what you investigate, how you respond to the people you encounter, and whether you choose to keep digging can all influence what happens next. A decision that appears insignificant at first may have consequences much later in the story. Certain scenes, character relationships, hidden information, and pieces of the truth can only be discovered through specific choices and story branches.
Your Goal
Investigate the events unfolding around you and search for the truth hidden behind them.
Pay attention to characters, environments, conversations, and clues. Decide which information you can trust and which direction you want to investigate.
As new clues emerge, different choices can reveal different parts of the mystery and move the story toward different endings.
The first truth you discover may not be the whole truth.
