Happy Roots starts you on an empty plot with an old barn, a silo, and a pair of boots. You're a real character down in the dirt — walking your fields, working them by hand, hauling what you grow back to storage yourself. And when the harvest outgrows a sickle, there's a tractor waiting in the yard.Grow it
Buy fields and sow wheat, corn, carrots and pumpkins. Water by hand with the can, or set up sprinklers and let them run. Every crop pushes up through four real growth stages, right there in the field where you planted it — and when it's ripe, you cut it yourself.

Or drive it
Buy a tractor and hitch up your tools. The seed drill sows an entire field in a single pass. The combine harvester brings the whole thing in while you steer. Proper wheel physics, suspension and all — and on the days you'd rather take your time, the sickle is still in your hand.

Raise it
Build a chicken coop, a cow shed and a sheep pasture. Feed your animals with feed you milled yourself, and collect eggs, milk and wool on a steady cycle. Look after them and they keep giving.

This is where a farm becomes a business.

Sell it, at your price
Stock the crates at your roadside shop, set your own price on every item, and villagers walk up the road to buy from you. Price it high and watch it sit. Price it right and watch it move. Unlock more crate slots and your little wooden stand grows into a real storefront.

Visit other farms
Wander into farms built by other real players, see what they've made of their land, and buy goods straight from their roadside shops.Expand it
Buy land deeds to unlock new rows of your farm, one plot at a time. Chop trees for planks, upgrade the barn and the silo, and watch the buildings themselves grow visibly bigger as their capacity climbs. The level curve keeps going, with no cap to hit.Make it yours
Fences, wells, benches, lamps — place decorations anywhere and lay the whole farm out exactly how you picture it. Then customise your farmer: hair, eyes, face, clothes, boots.

Work into the night
A full day-night cycle runs over everything — morning light across the fields, long shadows by afternoon, and lamps flickering on across the farm at dusk.

And when the work isn't finished by sundown, there's a flashlight in your pack and rows still waiting.
