With each passing day, the Mordagan army draws closer to Derinchai. Use your limited time to train your soldiers, strengthen your defenses, manage your resources, and prepare for the coming assault. Choose your castle's leadership carefully—some characters may put you in a difficult position when the siege begins.

EVERY CHOICE HAS A COST
A castle is more than stone walls. Your people, your soldiers, and the important characters around you are all affected by the decisions you make.

BUILD YOUR OWN DEFENSE
Produce ballistae, arrow baskets, and other siege defenses. Decide how each section of the walls should be prepared and establish your defensive positions before the battle begins.

DESIGN YOUR OWN CATAPULT
Instead of choosing a siege weapon with predetermined statistics, adjust the properties of its individual components. Size, weight, and mechanical construction directly affect the resulting catapult's range, power, and durability.

THE ENEMY IS REALLY CLOSING IN
The Mordagan army's advance is more than just a countdown. Strategic decisions can alter its routes and delay its arrival on the map. Your dealings with neighboring kingdoms and the characters you appoint to positions of authority can directly affect the defense of the castle.

TAKE TO THE WALLS
When the preparations are over, you do not have to watch the battle from afar. Take direct control of the Lord, equip your sword and shield, and defend your castle alongside your soldiers.
