Desmarchon is a singleplayer science-fiction survivor-like built around chain weaving. Hold over drifting Anomalies to connect links, then release to burst them. Decide when to extend the chain and when to clear space before your hull is overwhelmed.Choose a doctrine and build around it
Choose one of three doctrines: Weaver focuses on chains, Carrier deploys autonomous drones, and Gunship uses timed attacks. Pick temporary upgrades as each run develops. Equipment, crafting and the talent tree provide persistent progression between runs, so you also shape the ship you take into the next mission.

Fill seven equipment slots with normal, magic, rare and unique items. Salvage unwanted gear for Schematics, then add or reroll mods to refine the equipment you take into your next run.Take your ship from Campaign to Deep Space
Play through 16 narrative Campaign operations, with tactical captions during missions and illustrated story scenes between them. After the Campaign, explore 30 thematic Deep Space destinations for farming and build experimentation. Missions differ in their conditions, enemy mixes and unlock requirements. Named bosses, portals and spontaneous Amalgam formations may appear along the way.Choose your destination and Depth
Depth determines how hard a Deep Space mission is. Unlocked Depths are shared across all destinations. Return to an unlocked Depth to farm gear or experiment with a build. Clear a mission at your highest unlocked Depth to unlock the next Depth everywhere.

For an endless run, enter Shardwake. Every 90 seconds of survival increases Depth within the same run. Any Depth unlocks you earn are kept even if your ship is lost.

Before a Deep Space mission, select Reality Manifolds to change enemies, difficulty and loot. Some destinations require particular Manifolds or keys.
