Each of Irkalla's four races has two distinct factions, each inspired by a different real-world civilization in its aesthetics, themes, and culture.
Diverse Kit: Each faction comes with its own roster of units, starting spell schools and technologies.

Heroes: Recruit and command heroes, level them up, teach them new skills, and equip them with magical artifacts. Heroes lead your armies, explore the world, and uncover its secrets.

Five Eras: Advance through five eras of Irkalla — Ancient, Classical, Middle, High, and Mythic. Discover new technologies, construct and upgrade buildings, field increasingly powerful units, and unlock new paths to victory.

There are many ways to achieve supremacy. Will you seek power through faith, arcane knowledge, or military and technological might?
Truth: Choose one of seven Truths and summon its wonders and horrors through the power of faith. Convert provinces to your Truth — and eventually bend the very fabric of reality to it.

Magic: Collect spellbooks to expand your arsenal of spells, and script the spellcasting of your heroes in battle. Cast powerful enchantments and summon otherworldly creatures to bolster your forces between battles.

Might: Or forsake the esoteric arts in pursuit of true technological supremacy. Field larger and better-equipped armies, wield increasingly advanced weapons, and transform your provinces into industrial powerhouses.

Procedurally Generated Maps: Choose from four map types and rediscover the world with every game. Explore provinces, contend with rival kingdoms, uncover legendary locations, and face terrible beings from within — and beyond — the world.

Choose Your Goal: Achieve one of three types of victory: Conquest, Alliance, or the bizarre Truth Victory.

AI Memories: AI rulers are driven by more than calculation. They remember their dealings with you. Gifts, alliances, betrayals, and wars leave lasting impressions — and some rulers will remember them far longer and stronger than others.

Automatic Battles: Battles are fast and tactical, with their outcome determined by strategy and preparation. Watch animated battle replays shaped by unit traits, army composition, and the heroes commanding each side.
