THE MONK
He is the fastest hero in the roster and the luckiest one, and also the one wearing the least. He does not win a fight by taking the hit. He wins it by arriving before the hit does.

FOUR BRANCHES OF ACTIVE SKILLS
Fists is the close work, blow after blow. Wind is reach an unarmed fighter has no business having. Chi is what he does to himself between strikes. Spirit is what he spends when the fight has to be over this second. You decide which ones he takes into battle.

FAST OR LUCKY, NEVER BOTH
His two keystones rule each other out. One turns him into a blur and charges it to his health. The other bends the luck of the whole run his way and charges it to his damage. Choosing between them is choosing which monk you are going to play.

WEAPON AND OFF-HAND, ALL THE WAY UP
He fights bare-handed: his gear is a pair of gauntlets, and both climb the material ladder with him.

THE UNLOCK IS PERMANENT
The unlock is permanent and lives on your account: he slots into any position in the party, on any difficulty, for good. There is no gold path to him inside the game, so this is the only way to have him, and none of the free classes were touched to make room for him.
