PASS THE EMBER OR BLOW UP

A statue spits out a burning Ember. Grab it and RUN.
You can only hold the Ember for 10 seconds before it blows up in your hands and stuns you. Pass it, throw it across the room, or make it somebody else's problem.
Keep the Ember alive for 5 minutes and the Tricksters win. Let the Wardens destroy it, and you're done.
TRICKSTER OR WARDEN?

As a tiny Trickster, keep the Ember moving, dodge the Warden, and work with or completely screw over your friends to survive the round.
As an armed Warden, enter the hunt 10 seconds later. Track the Tricksters with your scanner and land 7 shots on the Ember before the timer runs out.
FIGHT DIRTY

Choose your abilities before the round and ruin somebody's day.
Grapple away from danger. Throw mud in the Warden's face. Leave banana peels and tripwires behind you.
Or, as the Warden, teleport through portals, drop rat traps, throw electric grenades, and trick players with squeaky-hammer illusions.
Launch yourself across rooms with bounce pads, cool the Ember using vents, or freeze it on a heatsink to buy your team precious time.
TINY PLAYERS, GIANT WORLD

Run across oversized furniture, squeeze through hidden passages, launch yourself across rooms, and use multiple traversal routes to lose whoever's chasing you.
Bright, hand-painted environments are packed with shortcuts, hiding spots, and ways to cause trouble.
SCREAM AT YOUR FRIENDS

Bring up to 10 players into customizable online lobbies, decide how many Wardens you want, and then immediately regret inviting everyone.
Proximity voice chat means the screaming gets louder as somebody gets closer, and quieter as your friends abandon you with a burning Ember in your hands.
LOOK RIDICULOUS

Every round and every win gives you experience. Keep playing to unlock unique head, back, body, and leg cosmetics, plus titles, and build the most unhinged Trickster or Warden you can.
