Sparkborn is an atmospheric 2D metroidvania set in a world forever changed by a mysterious cataclysm.
Many living creatures have disappeared, the old order has collapsed, and strange, unexplained events have begun to unfold among the ruins. Toys have come to life. They think, feel, fear, fight, and struggle to understand what they have become.
Some believe they have gained true consciousness. Others think something resembling a soul now exists within them.
Explore an interconnected world filled with abandoned places, old machinery, and new settlements built by living toys. New abilities will open previously inaccessible paths, while hidden rooms, unusual characters, and traces of the past will gradually reveal what happened during the cataclysm.
Along the way, you will meet friendly inhabitants, dangerous enemies, and powerful bosses, each of them shaped by the new reality in their own way.
Explore the world, grow stronger, and uncover why the toys came to life — and what truly remains of the world that existed before.
