Homegrown: Sports Agent Empire is a competitive roguelike sports agency management sim. You run the agency, not the team: every run is a twenty-season career played in weekly decisions, and every career ends the same way — the Retirement Package, a full interactive review of your run, before your final Power Score posts itself to a global monthly leaderboard.
SIGN — Draft classes declare every season across basketball, football, baseball and hockey. Every recruiting pitch costs cash and shows its odds up front. Badges separate the phenoms from the cautionary tales: Diamond in the Rough, Veteran Presence, Champion.
NEGOTIATE — Real cap mechanics per league: soft caps and aprons, hard caps, luxury tax, franchise tags, holdouts, team patience meters and performance clauses. Beat the market and your reputation moves. Get greedy and the GM stops returning calls.
BUILD — Commission buys office upgrades, lifestyle tiers, wardrobe, vehicles and charity work. Five agent stats shape the agent you become, and the codename you retire with. Stars rated 82+ are high-maintenance: meet their demands or watch rivals poach them.
RETIRE IN REVIEW — Every completed career ends in the Retirement Package: an interactive, tabbed career review with stat tiles, earnable Career Honors, a season-by-season commission chart, a filterable timeline of every signing, scandal and title, and charts of your best (and worst) clients.
OWN THE MONTH — One global leaderboard per difficulty bracket, shared across Steam and mobile, resetting monthly. No account, no sign-in: your score posts itself the moment your run ends, and only your single best run per bracket counts.
STEAM ACHIEVEMENTS — Launching with a full achievement set previewed by in-game Career Honors, across four categories: scouting (First Signature, Star Whisperer), negotiation (Century Club, Signature Collector), crisis management (Crisis Manager), and legacy (Champion Maker, Dynasty Builder, Powerhouse, Full Ride). Hidden achievements reward agents who read the fine print.
