Overview:
Cognito Zero is a story based, first-person stealth prison narrative, set in a high-security facility where every guard has a routine and every object has a purpose, your only weapon is your ingenuity. The game challenges you to outsmart dynamic AI through sabotage, scavenging, and observation. You are not heavily armed, you are a resourceful infiltrator orchestrating the perfect escape. Watch the patrol routes, identify vulnerabilities in the environment, and use the facility's own systems against it to secure your escape.

Story:
You wake up suddenly as Jay Rivers, a prisoner on death row suffering from Retrograde Amnesia, caused by a traumatic brain injury prior to the game's start. You remember nothing of your past or the crime that put you here, but one truth is undeniable: in two weeks, your sentence will be carried out. With the execution date looming and guards controlling every corridor, you must piece together your lost identity, navigate shifting prison politics, and plan an impossible escape before the clock runs out.

Gameplay & Key Features
Behaviour-Driven AI: Guards stick to rigid routines, patrolling, resting, inspecting, and reacting. Disrupt their tasks by tampering with their surroundings to carve out crucial windows of opportunity.

Environmental Sabotage: Solve practical environmental puzzles to lure staff away from checkpoints. Rip maintenance manuals, jam appliances, or cut circuits to force guards into repair loops.

Tactile Scavenging & Crafting: Turn contraband into survival gear. Combine everyday scrap, like scavenged plastic and stolen adhesive, to forge counterfeit key cards, lockpicks, and escape tools.

Physical Stash Spots: Manage tight inventory limits and conceal forbidden items inside the environment. Use functional fixtures, hidden compartments, and hollow spaces to evade shakedowns.

High-Stakes Infiltration: Evade security cameras, manage your visibility, and execute your getaway without raising a prison-wide lockdown.
