Vug: From Caves to Stars

Every grain is simulated.
VUG's worlds are living pixel terrain: sand pours, water levels out, lava ignites forests, snow drifts and freezes, rock craters and collapses under fire. Even the mothership hull is simulated.

Fly the lander.
A small thruster ship, ten hulls to earn and a rack of secondary weapons: mining lasers, guided missiles, cluster bombs, EMP. Mine ore veins, collect FTL fuel from deposits, haul salvage back to your mothership, and get out before the sun flares or the meteor shower arrives.

Build the mothership.
Your ship is your canvas: reactors, fuel tanks, life support, turrets, shields, cryo pods, a clone chamber, breaching pods. Route power by priority, seal doors against boarders, and keep the crew alive. Walk the corridors as the captain, man a turret yourself, or trust the crew to weld breaches while you fly.

A galaxy that keeps moving.
Thousands of stars, eight factions with their own tastes, tolls and grudges. Reputation decides your prices and whether their guns turn on you. Wars flare and shift while you travel; stations fall, outposts grow, traders roam, pirates hunt. Take jobs, broker alliances, or rob the research barge and run.

The swarm.
Somewhere at the far rim something is swallowing the stars. Can you bring the light back?
