Portals and Ducks is a first-person game about speed you earn and refuse to give back. Surf down a ramp, shoot a portal, and carry every bit of your momentum straight through the wall.
The surfing is the easy part. Touch a slope and you start sliding - no technique to master, no strafe timing to learn. Steer left and right, let the ramp turn your fall into speed, and the run starts carrying itself.
Your cards are your portals. Every card you fire attaches an effect to the portal it opens. Put Speed on one and Jump on the other, fly through, and both effects are yours at once.
The effect stays on the portal, so a second pass gives you a second charge. Combinations are meant to surprise you, not to be planned - the fun is in what the level never intended.
Levels last under a minute and restarts are instant. There is always a faster line through the same room. You just haven't drawn it yet.
