Old War Together

A big battle, whenever you want one
Old War Together is a stylized third-person World War II shooter about large battles against bots. Open the map, pick a flag your team holds, pick a kit, and deploy. Two armies of bots are already fighting over the beaches, farms and streets of Normandy, and the front line keeps moving whether you are there or not. When you die, you are back at the map in seconds, choosing where the next push begins.

One connected battlefield
Normandy is a single large map: land on the beach below the bunker line, push through the farms and the crossroads, and fight house to house in the town. The sea and the rivers are swimmable water, and a transport plane can drop you anywhere by parachute. Every flag you hold is a place to spawn, resupply and bring parked vehicles back into the fight.

Kits and vehicles
Kits for every role. Rifleman, Assault, Support, Sniper, Anti-Tank, Paratrooper, Tanker, Driver and Pilot, with their own weapons on both sides of the front. Drop your weapon and pick up another from a fallen soldier.

A motor pool at every flag. Scout cars, trucks and half-tracks, Shermans and Panzers, fighter planes and transport planes, all with seats for a crew. Planes take off from and land on real airstrips.

Choose your battle
Battle — three battalions per side, every death drains tickets, flags bleed the enemy.

Domination — every flag you hold scores a point per second.

Point Match — a kill race to a point lead.

Skirmish — fixed lives per team, no flags, last squad standing wins.

Spec Ops — a small attacking squad against a dug-in defence.

Before a match you set the length, time limit, bots per team, bot difficulty (Recruit to Elite), friendly fire, vehicles on or off, and which classes are allowed.

Bots that fight, and bots that follow
Bots flank, suppress, throw grenades, drive, fly and parachute, and they get sharper as you raise the difficulty. Press one key to rally the soldiers around you and send them at the next objective.

Movement and feel
Sprint, slide into cover, vault low obstacles, lean around corners, go prone, swim. Every weapon has its own recoil, and the camera reacts to landings, explosions and hits. Keys are fully rebindable, and a field training course teaches every mechanic in a few minutes.

Solo, or with friends
Play the whole thing alone against bots at your own pace, or host a Steam lobby — public, friends-only or private with a password — and bring up to 16 players into the same battle, on the same team or on opposite sides, with bots filling out both armies. The host sets the match settings for everyone.
