Tactics Arena is a free-to-play turn-based tactical strategy game where positioning, prediction, and timing matter as much as raw power.

Command a squad of distinct units across a compact battlefield. Move into position, choose your target, manage attack angles, control your facing, and try to stay one step ahead of your opponent.

Every turn creates a new tactical problem. Every unit matters. And one bad decision can change the entire battle.

Plan Every Move
Movement is not just about getting closer to the enemy.
Control space, protect vulnerable units, create better attack angles, and force your opponent into difficult positions. The battlefield is small enough to read at a glance, but deep enough that positioning can shape several turns ahead.

Commit to the Attack
Before striking, evaluate the situation.

Attack success can depend on positioning, defensive facing, blocking, and the unit you choose to engage. Preview the outcome, select your target, and commit when the odds are worth it.

Sometimes the best attack is not the safest one.

Choose Your Facing
Your turn does not end when the attack is over.

Choose which direction your unit faces and prepare for what comes next. Good positioning can make an enemy attack much harder to land, while exposing the wrong side can leave a powerful unit vulnerable.

Thinking about your opponent's next turn is just as important as planning your own.

Play at Your Pace
Challenge other players in rated or casual matches using different time controls.

Play long-form Daily matches when you want time to think, or jump into faster Rapid, Blitz, and Bullet battles when you want immediate action.

Climb the ratings, test different strategies, and adapt to opponents who do not think like an AI.

Train Against Unique Bots
Prefer to practice first? Challenge AI opponents with different ratings, strengths, personalities, and play styles.

Use easier opponents to learn the fundamentals, experiment with unfamiliar units, or work your way toward bots designed to punish tactical mistakes.

Some bots will give you room to learn.

Others will not.

Replay Every Battle
Study your matches after they end.

Step through the battle move by move, review key decisions, and see where the momentum changed. Replays make it easier to understand what worked, what failed, and what you might do differently next time.

Winning teaches you something.

Losing usually teaches you more.
