Two rulesets
Hong Kong Mahjong: fan scoring, flowers and seasons, and a set of house rules you can switch on or off.

Japanese Riichi Mahjong: riichi, dora, ura dora, red fives, furiten, fu and han scoring.
An in-game coach
Switch on the assistant and it tells you what to discard and why. It shows your fastest discard, your safest one and the one it recommends, with the odds behind each, and it advises on every pung, kong and chow you are offered. It also tells you when a big hand like a Half Flush is worth steering for, and when it is better to just play for speed.Opponents with personality
