Myriad Gambit is a single-player strategy auto-battler inspired by Chinese mythology. Choose a mythic hero, spend Spirit Stones on recruits and spells, and advance your cultivation tier. Build your formation between preparation rounds and automatic battles as you compete against seven AI opponents.
Seven slots. Build your winning core
Who guards the formation? Who deals the damage? Who needs a neighbor’s support? Merge three matching recruits into a golden True Form, choose a merge reward, and keep developing your allies with spells, cultivation manuals, and hero abilities. An unassuming recruit can grow into the heart of your strategy.
Eight tribes. Shifting forms.
Build around Celestials, Demons, Yao, Ghosts, Spirits, Corpses, Humans, and Beasts, each with distinct growth mechanics. Three tribes are randomly excluded each run, changing the combinations available.
Install structures in fixed slots to transform compatible recruits and explore benefits from their native and transformed tribes. Plan positions and growth—or use targeted Reincarnation to pass an old core’s investment to its successor.

On turns 5 and 10 of the Standard schedule, choose one of three minor bosses to challenge. Meet 32 minor bosses with distinct formations, signature mechanics, and battle scenes. Preview the encounter and prepare your response.
Win to choose a playstyle enhancement, a tribe legacy, or an immediate boost. Strengthen your existing engine, or use your reward to take the formation in a new direction.
From your first lesson to the final trial
Learn through replayable interactive tutorials, then progress through Easy, Normal, Hard, and Hell. Standard Easy offers more room to experiment while learning the economy and tribe mechanics.
On every difficulty in both schedules, the top two arena finishers can challenge the final Boss. Face a multi-phase trial: read the announced edict, select a countermeasure, and adjust your formation between clashes. Hell Bosses put your build and tactical judgment to a greater test.
Two schedules. Separate achievement journeys.
Choose Standard for minor boss encounters and their growth rewards. Select Chosen One to retain the original AI strength and arena schedule, without minor bosses or their exclusive rewards.
Pursue 43 Standard achievements and 43 separate Chosen Diamond achievements. Unlock the Forest Spring Spirit collection and He Xiangu hero skin through gameplay. Records, Hell streaks, and mirror rosters are tracked separately for each schedule.

Play mode and language support
The Steam edition is an offline single-player PvE game with computer-controlled opponents and no multiplayer.
Rankings compare profiles stored on your device; they are not Steam global leaderboards. Interface text, rules, and subtitles support English and Simplified Chinese, selectable in Settings. Voice audio is in Chinese; English voice acting is not included.
