Episodic release: what is available now
The Motel is an episodic psychological horror game. The current release contains only the playable pilot episode, which begins the story. The full story is not yet available.
Your purchase includes the pilot episode and the subsequent story episodes planned for future major updates to this same game, at no additional charge. These later episodes are still in development and are not included in the current build. Release dates have not been announced.
First-person psychological horror set in a motel that will not let you sleep. As two brothers on the run, explore rooms that rewrite themselves, solve puzzles under pressure, and choose how the horror reaches you: through sound, through sight, or through your own body.
Co-op
Windows: play online with one friend using Steam invitations, or connect over LAN/IP. The host creates a game; the guest accepts a Steam invitation. Online co-op requires both players to be online in Steam, have access to the game, and run the same current Windows game build. The host must remain in the game.
Steam-invitation co-op is currently implemented in the Windows build only. The current macOS build uses direct-IP LAN co-op and does not support Steam invitations or cross-platform co-op.
