Purrtaliation is a single-player fighting game where different cat breeds face off in a championship that stretches from city skylines to the ocean floor and the Moon. Name your cat, customize its appearance, master its signature move and take on a roster of rivals with distinct fighting styles.
FIND YOUR FIGHTING STYLE
Combine quick punches, claw strikes and committed kicks. Block incoming pressure, dodge an attack or use a throw to break through a guarded opponent. Every breed has a signature move and a ranged attack, giving you different ways to control a fight.
A JOURNEY THROUGH THE BROKEN BELL
Follow a 24-chapter story of missing fighters, a powerful sponsor and a championship worth fighting for. Rival conversations, illustrated scenes between matches and a story journal carry the journey beyond the arena.
EARN YOUR PLACE IN THE ROSTER
Begin with three cat breeds and three arenas. Win matches in Story and Tournament to unlock the rest of the 24-breed roster and 17-arena lineup. Personalize your cat with coat colors and patterns, eye colors, outfits, body builds and accessories. Earn additional cosmetic skins through play.
TAKE THE FIGHT AROUND THE WORLD
Battle across world capitals including Tokyo, Paris, London and Washington, DC. Fight beside the University of Virginia's Rotunda in Charlottesville, near Hawaii's volcanic coast, beneath the sea and on the Moon. Underwater fights equip the cats with scuba kits; lunar matches put them in spacesuits.
PLAY YOUR WAY
Enter a tournament with a pool of 24 cats, practice against a configurable training opponent or learn the controls in the playable tutorial. Custom Mode lets you choose your rival, arena, round length, health, starting energy, damage scale and difficulty. Choose from five difficulty levels, from Easy to Nightmare.
Matches are best of three rounds, normally with a two-minute round timer. If the score is tied after three rounds, a full two-minute overtime round decides the match; a drawn overtime round repeats.
SAVE THE JOURNEY. KEEP THE HIGHLIGHTS.
Progress saves after matches, and pause-menu save options let you return to your run. Optional match recording and knockout clips let you capture the action. Watch saved videos, trim clips, change playback speed and export MP4 files. Recording can be disabled, and unwanted recordings can be deleted.
20 ORIGINAL TRACKS
Fight to an original electronic soundtrack spanning dark techno, dance and contrasting cinematic styles. The in-game radio displays the current track and lets you change the music.
Keyboard and standard gamepad controls are supported, with remappable combat inputs. Adjust sound, video and recording settings, increase menu text size or reduce flashes and camera shake.
Purrtaliation is a single-player experience. Built-in cat customization and custom match settings are included; online multiplayer and runtime mods are not part of the current release.
