Enter the Dark
Recension is a focused single-player shooter built around unrestricted six-degrees-of-freedom flight. Move and turn in any direction as you navigate a twisting underground mine filled with hostile machines, locked bulkheads and stretches of complete darkness.
There is no ambient light. Lamps, muzzle flashes, projectiles, flares and your ship’s headlight illuminate the mine while casting hard-edged dynamic shadows. Light helps you see—but it can also help the robots see you.
Fight, Explore, Escape
Search branching passages for colored access keys, collect supplies and fight your way toward the reactor. Once it is destroyed, the mine begins to shake and a countdown starts. Reach the exit before time runs out.
Choose between four primary weapons and two missile types, each with its own range, handling and resource cost. Manage shields, energy, ammunition and flares while enemy robots search, pursue and attack from any direction.
