Bless your settlement, make rain fall, heal the wounded, call game animals or hurl lightning at your enemies – eight powers, paid for with the faith of your people.
Raiders, tribes and sieges
Foreign tribes live around your valley. Give them gifts, pay peace money – or clear their camps. Raiders roam the map, guards stand up to them, walls, towers and gates hold them back, and later catapults roll against fortifications.
Battle
Lead your troops yourself: stances, fixed squads on the number keys, formations with spears in front and bows behind. Against warriors, archers and shield bearers the morale of both sides decides – lose too many and a side flees. Siege ladders go up against the wall, fire arrows set gates alight, defenders push the ladders over. Pause and slow motion let you give orders in peace.
A campaign across 27 regions
Cartography opens the region map – a relief landscape with mountains, forests and sea. Free province after province from foreign peoples, lead several armies with waypoints, keep them supplied or let them plunder. You can also talk to the other peoples: peace, alliance, trade, tribute and gifts – each one remembers where it stands with you. Three difficulty levels.
Multiplayer
Play together on the same region map – over the network or through a Steam lobby with invitations. Armies march against the other players' provinces, and whoever conquers a province takes over the opponent's actual town.
Easy to get into
A tutorial in five chapters guides you through your first game. All graphics and the music are created by the game itself. In English and German.
