A Country Named Hunger is an action role playing game about surviving after the end of the world.
You lead a company of road mercenaries. You travel between settlements, take paid jobs, and fight anyone who stands in your way.

Know your factions
Zroids: The dead, brought back and fused with machine parts by a hidden AGI. They can think. They are organized. But their goals are inscrutable. 

Feral Zombies: The old kind of dead. Slow and weak alone, but dangerous in large groups. 

Raiders: Bandits who only attack when they think they can win. They raid settlements and caravans. 

The Cordon: What is left of the federal government. They’ve re-established control over many of the survivor settlements. Stay on their good side, or they will hunt you down.

Choose your path
Take honest jobs and earn the Cordon's trust for better prices. Or rob the trade wagons that travel between towns. You can even attack a settlement itself for a huge payday. Every choice has a cost.
