Plastic Soldiers: Air Support

Air Support is a top-down arcade helicopter shooter set in a world of moulded plastic. You fly a Green Army gunship low over picnic blankets, sandpits, snowbound prison camps and garden ponds, and everything down there wants you dead: tank columns, anti-air guns, gunboats, dug-in infantry, and the occasional giant ant.
Fast, readable, chunky action. Line up a strafing run, dump a salvo into a convoy, and winch a crate out of the wreckage before the next wave arrives.
A campaign of real objectives
Every mission is hand-built around a job, not a kill count. Sink a flotilla. Escort a steam train through hostile hills and find the battery it needs to finish the run. Light a chain of beacons across a night-time valley. Gas the ant hills before they overrun the camps. Free prisoners from a frozen camp. Hunt down propaganda towers hidden in a meadow of giant tree stumps. Hold a beachhead until the landing craft are ashore.
Serious firepower, toy-sized
Start with the chin gun and earn the rest from weapon crates scattered across each mission. Some weapons punch holes in armour, some set the whole field alight, and one calls the navy in from offshore. Pick the right tool for what is shooting at you.
Two airframes
The nimble Huey or the heavier Apache. Pick your ride per mission.
The winch
Lower the rope to lift supply crates, rescue soldiers, carry a battery to a stalled train, or drag an enemy's stolen documents home. Your cargo swings, and so does your camera.
Two-player co-op
Fly the whole campaign with a friend. Each of you picks an airframe; the enemy picks on both of you.
