Grow your world by placing tiles to discover hidden resources, farm land, expand your city and grow your empire!

Kaapstede is a tile-placement city builder. Match grass, water, forest and mountain edges to expand your world and reveal hidden secrets. Build mines and farms on the resources you uncover and grow your population to unlock higher tiered structures.

Your first build
Your Kaapstede city starts with a basic keep on a single hex tile. Your keep earns you terra, and each new terra gives you the ability to place another tile.  Place these against matching terrain types to expand your world and to discover resources, mountains and hidden bonuses.   In later stages of the game, additional buildings unlock which can speed up the earning of terra and even bias the type of tiles that appear.

Expand your city and gain resources
Grow your city by building houses to home more people. Unlock higher tiers by reaching population goals. As your city grows your workers demand resources.  Build farms along river banks to provide food, build mines on stone quarries to mine for rock and ore.
