Core Awakened

Core Awakened is an independent 2D fighting game featuring one-on-one battles, fantasy warriors and character-specific powers. Fight the CPU in Arcade, challenge another player on the same PC or battle online through Steam.
Awaken the power of CORE
Combat revolves around charging energy and using CORE I, II and III powers. Combine movement, attacks and blocks to create an opening for combos and special finishers featuring illustrations of each warrior.
Without a traditional health bar, every battle challenges you to master the rhythm of combat and choose when to unleash your power.
Choose your warrior
Human fighters, creatures, otherworldly beings and supernatural warriors make up the roster. Discover their powers, stages, stories and biographies, including Virgilio, a Paraguayan soldier of the Chaco.
Game modes
• Arcade: fight the CPU and advance to the final boss, Varkhos.
• Local Versus: battle another player on the same PC.
• Online: Steam multiplayer battles with rematches and character selection.
Play with a keyboard or Xbox controller. Adjust music, sound effects and voice volumes separately, and disable camera shake in the options.
Languages
Menus and dynamic text are available in Spanish, English and Brazilian Portuguese. Stories, biographies and text embedded in images remain in Spanish.
Online multiplayer requires an Internet connection and Steam. Arcade and local modes can be played offline.
